SNMP-NV6 1. Overview SNMP-NV6 card is an interface between the UPS and the network. It can obtain the information from a UPS and issue commands to it. SNMP-NV6 card supports two kinds of protocols – SNMP and HTTP for user access. Through the SNMP NMS and Web Browser, the user can setup the SNMP-NV6 card obtain information from the UPS and issue commands to UPS. Enter http://host_name or http://ip_address in the address bar for the plain web transmission or https://host_name or https://ip_address for the encrypted web transmission. The SNMP-NV6 card will then ask for your user name and password. After keying in the correct user name and password, the SNMP-NV6 card’s Home Page will appear on the screen.
