1.1 About the Serial ATA (SATA) interface The Serial ATA interface provides several advantages over the traditional (parallel) ATA interface. 2.7 Seek time Seek measurements are taken with nominal power at 25°C ambient temperature. All times are measured using drive diagnostics.
