3. The Keurig K-Cup® Portion Pack The Keurig B3000 Brewer may only be utilized in conjunction with the single serve portion pack called the Keurig K-Cup. The K-Cup is fitted with a paper filter that is heat sealed to the inside upper edge of the plastic cup. Filter Requirements The Keurig B3000 brewer system requires the use of a water filtration system to optimize the coffee flavor and brewer reliability. Two mounting holes with screws have been provided on the back of the brewer for this purpose. Keurig recommends the Omnipure KQ8A filter. A filter kit (part number 5025) is available from Keurig.
