IMPORTANT IT IS IMPORTANT BEFORE UNSCREWING THE WATER TANK CAP TO CHECK THAT THERE IS NO RESIDUAL PRESSURE IN THE BOILER. TO ACCOMPLISH THIS PLEASE COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING: • Wait 5 minutes after the appliance is switched off, then remove the filter-holder, move the flow regulator to “LIGHT” and let any remaining water and steam flow. • When no more steam is released, move the flow regulator to “CAPPUCCINO” and release any remaining steam from the milk tube by turning the steam knob. HOW TO MAKE COFFEE 1. Remove the carafe from the recessed warming plate. Grasp the handle, lift it up, slide the carafe straight out. Open the lid, and fill the carafe with cold water to the desired level (fig. 20). 2. Open the drip coffee reservoir cover, and pour the water into the reservoir. Close the lid of the carafe and place carafe on warming plate. 3. Swing out the filter holder as per fig. 21. 4. Place paper filter into the filter holder (fig. 22).
