Regular cleaning prevents mineral scale buildup in the hot water reservoir. It also helps prevent buildup of bacteria, molds or other micro-organisms in the tank or system. See the enclosed order form. The UV bulb will operate at maximum output for approxi- mately 2,000 hours. The UV bulb may operate longer than 2,000 hours but at a reduced output. Before cleaning, set CONTROLS to “OFF” position and unplug unit. 2. Remove water tank from humidifier base, and drain water from tank. 3.
