Maintenance And Service REPLACING THE GLASS: The glass in the fireplace is a high temperature ceramic. If the glass is damaged in any way, a factory replacement is required (see PARTS LIST - COMPONENTS). Wear gloves when handling damaged glass door assembly to prevent personal injury. Maintenance And Service Step 8. Install the new pilot injector supplied with this conversion kit. Simply screw the new injector inside the pilot hood and reinstall the hood by placing the hood on the assembly, line up the key way, and snap into place. Step 9. Remove the main burner orifice with a 1⁄2 inch deep socket. Step 10. Install the new orifice supplied.
