Smoke Alarm Features Smoke Alarm The smoke alarm monitors the air for products of combus- tion that are produced when something is burning or smol- dering. Install the three (3) AA batteries in the back of the Smoke/CO Alarm. • The mounting plate must be removed from the back of the unit to install batteries.
