EXHAUST HOOD • Use an approved exhaust hood with a swing-out damper that opens when the dryer is in operation. STEP 4 - LEVEL THE DRYER 1. Place the dry er in its Þ nal location. Take care not to crush or kink the exhaust vent. Make sure that all four feet are Þ rmly in contact with the ß oor and that the dryer rests solidly in position. NOTE: For a gas dryer, make sure that there are no kinks in the ß exible gas line. 2.
