Attaching the Backrest To attach the backrest to the base, place the base on a flat surface and align the back rest evenly with the base. Fold the plastic tab on the backrest 1 upward, align the backrest A attachment axle with the axle guide on the base and slide the backrest attachment axle into position. Adjustments Adjusting the Backrest Use the two-position recline flap to adjust the back angle of the booster seat. A Reclined Backrest Position: 1 Pull out the recline flap and slide down until in reclined position. Adjustments Adjusting the Width of the Base The base width can be adjusted for a proper fit, to improve side-impact protection and provide greater comfort.
