Controls and Indicators KEY SWITCH – GASOLINE VEHICLES The key switch (7) is mounted on the instrument panel to the right of the steering column (Figure 4, Page 11). It has three positions: OFF, ON, and START. To start the vehicle, place the Forward/Reverse handle in the NEUTRAL position and turn the key to the START position, and hold it there until the engine starts. Activate the choke (14) as necessary. Roll-Over Protective Structure and Safety Belts ROLL-OVER PROTECTIVE STRUCTURE AND SAFETY BELTS All HUV 4421 vehicles are equipped with a Roll-Over Protective Structure (ROPS) and safety belts for each occupant. See following WARNING. ý WARNING • The ROPS must be properly installed before operating the vehicle.
