3.0 INSTALLATION By default the 1385 automatically detects the resolution of the HDMI display device; however you can manually select a resolution using the OSD menu structure. See page 9 for a listing of supported resolutions. Leave the resolution in the “native” position on the OSD menu to enable automatic detection. 5.0 OPERATING THE UNIT The 1385 is controlled via an On Screen Display (OSD) menu. Much of the operation of the scaler is done automatically however there may be an occasion where an adjustment is needed, particularly if the input signals are not provided at standard levels. The menu structure on the previous page shows a two-tier arrangement. Press the MENU button to enter the menu (1st tier). Use the + and – buttons to move up and down the 1st tier selections until you arrive at the one you wish to adjust.
