Setting up Follow these steps to get your DECTfax Additional Handset ready to use 1 Charging the handset IMPORTANT The new handset may not be charged. It takes up to 12 hours to charge completely. The handset is powered by a rechargeable NiCad battery. The charger uses a fast charge system. For example, 10 minutes of charging will give about 10 minutes of talk time.
