GETTING STARTED The AT&T ID-282H Accessory Handset is for use with the AT&T ID-2820 Digital Cordless Telephone with Touch Sensitive Keypad. You must have the AT&T ID-2820 Digital Cordless Telephone with Touch Sensitive Keypad in order to use the AT&T ID-282H Accessory Handset. This manual only describes the steps necessary to set up the ID-282H Accessory Handset. Please read the manual for the ID-2820 Digital Cordless Telephone for detailed operating instructions. Setup of the ID-282H Accessory Handset 1. Plug the AC Adapter cord into the base unit and then into a wall outlet. 2. Pull the battery contact tab out slowly and remove as shown. 3. Place the handset in the charging cradle. The battery icon on the display will flash and the base indicator light will turn on to show charging is in progress.
