Model 8/10 PLUS Operation and Configuration Changing the Baud Rate The RS-232 protocol factory setting is 9600 baud, 8-bits, no parity, 1 start bit and 1 stop bit. The position of internal rotary switch SW3 on the main controller board controls the baud rate and parity. To change the switch setting, remove the four screws from the top of the case and lift the cover straight up.
