EXTENSION CORDS 1. Grounded tools require a three wire extension cord. Double Insulated tools can use either a two or three wire extension cord. 2. As the distance from the supply outlet increases, you must use a heavier gauge extension cord. Proper Operation During The Cutting Process: WARNING! Never pass hands and fingers directly in front of, to the rear, or below,the Saw Blade (10) when cutting a workpiece. Always push the Saw into the workpiece with both hands firmly gripping the Handles (64, 65, 72). 1. If the Carbon Brushes appear to be in good condition, but only dirty, they can be cleaned by rubbing with a pencil eraser. If there are large scratches on the Carbon Brushes, replace both Carbon Brushes immediately with approved replacement Carbon Brushes from Harbor Freight Tools. To reinstall the Carbon Brushes, insert them into the two Brush Holders (44). Turn the Carbon Brushes vertically so they will fit properly into the Brush Holders. Then, replace the Brush Covers.
