Battery operation using alkaline batteries (also see page 23) 1. Ensure your radio is disconnected from the mains supply and the aerial is fully retracted. 2. Open the battery cover on the base of the unit by using a fl at bladed screwdriver to loosen the screw securing the battery cover. 3. Normal operation should be achieved after 3 or 4 charge - discharge cycles. Finding new radio stations - DAB As time passes new stations may become available. To fi nd new stations proceed as follows:- 1 1. Press and release the Auto Tune button.
