4 Printer Setup Opening the front cover o Pull on the left and right corners of the front cover to and swing it down until it is fully open. Note: In addition to using the parallel interface as-is to connect a parallel interface, you can also connect an optional serial-to-parallel converter (page 40) to convert serial data from the computer to parallel data.
