Installation 4.0 INSTALLATION 4.1 PREPARATION 1. Visually inspect the UPS for freight damage. Report damage to the carrier and your local dealer or Liebert representative. CAUTION ! External battery cabinets are designed to be placed all on one side of the UPS or stacked beneath the UPS. While the UPS is in Normal Mode operation, pressing the Standby/ Manual Bypass button once will put the UPS into Bypass Mode.
