For the long- est operation and best performance, we recommend you use alkaline batteries (Radio Shack Cat. No. 23-555). The batteries protect the system’s memory during power fail- ures. Use a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the screw in the bat- tery compartment cover on the bottom of the system, and remove the cover. 3. No. 279-402). Each system only records information about calls received on the line to which it is connected. Follow these steps to connect two systems to a two-line phone. 1.
