Installing an HSIM-G 2.2.2 Installing an HSIM-G in a Standalone Device To install an HSIM-G into a standalone device (e.g., 2E42-27), perform the following steps: 1. Power down the device and remove the power cord. To install the HSIM-G in a standalone device, the device must first be powered down.
