INSTALLATION E100/S90/S120 forks with carbon steerer tubes are specifically designed for the Epic, Era, Safire and Stumpjumper carbon OEM frames with a 1 1/2” (52mm) lower bearing and a 1 1/8” (42mm) upper bearing. Each steerer tube is already cut to fit the specific frame size it was paired with. ADJUSTING COMPRESSION (BRAIN FADE) The blue knob (bottom of right leg) adjusts compression (Brain Fade), which helps control cornering and braking stability, as well as control fork bottom-out. Turn the knob clockwise for a firmer ride. Full clockwise is the maximum damping setting. Turn the knob counter-clockwise for a softer, suppler setting.
