SYSTEM OVERVIEW Alarms When an alarm occurs, both the keypad and external sounders will sound, and a message at the keypad will identify the zone(s) causing the alarm. In addition, if your system is connected to a central monitoring station, an alarm message will be sent. To stop the alarm sounding, you simply disarm the system. ABOUT THE KEYPADS General Your keypads allow you to control all system functions. The keypads feature a telephone style (digital) keys and a Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) which shows the nature and location of all occurrences. ENTRY/EXIT DELAYS General Information Your system has preset time delays, known as exit delay and entry delay. When you arm your system, exit delay gives you time to leave through the entry/exit door without setting off an alarm.
