GETTING YOUR DEAR DIARY SNAPSHOT ORGANIZER READY TO USE INSERTING THE BATTERIES Inserting Main Batteries 1. With the organizer turned off, remove the battery compartment door on the back of the unit by sliding the door in the direction of the arrows. 2. Insert two (2) AA batteries, making sure to align the “+” and “-“ signs as shown. 3. Replace the battery compartment door. 2

Replacing the Back-up Battery Note: This battery was installed at the factory and, with normal use, should not need changing for 24 months after you begin using your Dear Diary SnapShot Organizer. RESET FUNCTION By pressing the reset button on the bottom of the unit, you can delete all the data previously stored. A message on the screen will ask you , “ERASE MEMORY OK? Y/N.” By pressing Y (yes), all data will be erased. Pressing N (no) will return you to the clock display screen. SETTING THE DATE AND TIME Press ON. The screen will display the intial screen Press EDIT. The screen will prompt DATE? MMDDYY. Type the correct date. Press ENTER. The screen will prompt TIME? HHMM.
