Extension Phone If you want to use a regular phone or answering machine with your 1 WorkCentre 480cx, connect it to the jack labeled EXT on the side of the machine. To connect the WorkCentre 480cx to a computer, follow the steps below: CAUTION: Make sure the computer is turned off, and the WorkCentre ! 480cx is unplugged from the power outlet. 1 Plug the parallel cable into the connector on the back of the WorkCentre 480cx.
