To put the handle on to the pan you should put the chrome bracket over the cut out in the pan and then slide the handle on to the left as far as the bump on the pan. It is particularly useful when cooking soups, stews and casseroles because the long slow cooking will make cheaper, tougher cuts of meat more tender.
