Locate the SCSI cable on your computer (a 68-pin ribbon cable with one end connected to the SCSI adapter) and find the next available connector that is farthest from the adapter. Use all empty bus connectors beginning with the one farthest from the adapter to ensure better signal quality. Unloading tape cartridges To unload a tape cartridge, perform the following steps. 1. Make sure that the 100/200 GB HH LTO Internal Tape Drive is turned on. 2. Press the Unload button. The drive rewinds the tape and places the tape cartridge in the unload position. The status light will flash green while the tape rewinds, and then turn off when the cartridge is ejected from the drive. 3. Setting write protection on the cartridge The front of the cartridge has an orange write-protect switch 1to prevent accidental erasure.
