USING THE DRIVE USING THE DRIVE Front Panel “Maximum Speed Choice” function The CDU-5211 has a Maximum Speed Choice function where the user can select between maximum speeds of 40X or 52X. The drive always defaults to 40X. To activate 52X operation press and hold the Stop/Eject button for 5 seconds. The drive will then read the current disc at 52X speed.
