INSTALLING THE VTL VALUE APPLIANCE IN AN EQUIPMENT RACK 1. Before you start, select the lowest possible position in the rack, and deploy the rack’s anti-tilt bar. A top-heavy system tips over easily. So always load equipment into a rack from the bottom up and always place the heaviest equipment as low as possible. Always use the anti-tilt bar to keep the rack from tipping during installation.
