Device emulation types The XP family of disk arrays supports these device emulation types: • OPEN-K/3/8/9/E devices: OPEN-x logical units represent disk devices. Except for OPEN-V, these devices are based on fixed sizes. OPEN-V is a user-defined size. SNMP configuration The XP family of disk arrays supports standard Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) for remotely managing the disk array.
