Battery Charging E About Thermal Fuses ELECTRICAL HAZARD ® Your Power Wheels 12 volt battery is equipped with a built-in thermal fuse. The thermal fuse is a self-resetting WARNING safety device which automatically “trips” and shuts down operation of the vehicle if the vehicle is overloaded or the driving conditions too severe. Assembly 3 Cowling 5 Assembly 3 #8 x /4" Screws Frame 3 #8 x /4" Bottom View Screws •Turn the frame on its side. 3 •Insert four #8 x /4" screws into the holes in the bottom of the frame and into the cowling assembly. Tighten the screws. • Fit the cowling assembly into the front end of the frame. Steering Tube Hint: Squeeze the cowling assembly slightly (on each 6 Curve Faces side) to fit it inside the frame. Fit a / " - 16 lock nut onto each end of the steering tube. Make sure the rounded side is facing out. • Hand-tighten the lock nuts.
