WHAT IS WAAS? WAAS, available in North America, is a provider in the worldwide SBAS (Satellite Based Augmentation System) navigation system. 1. OPERATIONAL OVERVIEW 1.2 Inserting a Chart Card Your unit reads FURUNO and NavCharts™ (NAVIONICS) chart cards, or C-MAP chart cards, depending on the type of display unit you have.
