2. Getting Connected Before you can use your new phone, you need to attach and charge the battery. This section will help familiarize you on how, and when, to charge your battery. Charging your new battery Your phone can be used with either a rechargeable Li-Ion or NiMH battery. Note that a new battery’s full performance is achieved only after two or three complete charge and discharge cycles. With your phone on or off, connect the charger to a standard 120V AC outlet. Important Battery Information • The battery can be charged and discharged hundreds of times but it will eventually wear out.
