1. Set the Paper Shredder on the Wastebasket as shown in FIGURES 1 and 2 on page 9. Make sure not to come in contact with the blades under the plastic trap door. Troubleshooting Problem: After finishing normal shredding, the unit continues to run. Cause: Overloaded wastebasket - Shredded paper is in contact with the Shredder. Solution: Turn off the power and empty the wastebasket. Problem: Paper is hanging from the Shredder exit after finishing. Cause: Paper is clogging the machine.
