OPERATION Operation HOW TO LIGHT THE FIRE High-Low 1. STOP! Read the safety information on the Gas Control front cover. 2. If using the optional thermostat, set thermostat to the lowest setting. 3. Turn off electric power to the appliance. 4. Turn the ON-OFF/THERMOSTAT switch to the OFF position. 5. Push in the gas control knob slightly and turn it clockwise to "OFF." Place the face on the fireplace starting at the bottom. 3. Slide the face into place and install the four bolts as shown at left. 4.
