BASIC OPERATIONS 1. LOADING/EJECTING DISCS The CDG-350 can only play 3 and 5 inch CDs. Odd shaped, and oval CDs are not compatible. When loading a CD into the transport tray, always hold the disc by it edge (see Figure 8). Load the disc label side up and place it in the disc tray. Never touch the signal surface (the glossy side). BASIC OPERATIONS (CONT) 9. PITCH ADJUSTMENTS: This function will increase or decrease a tracks playback speed or "PITCH," this is not a momentary change as in "PITCH BENDING" (see page 17). The maximum pitch bend percentage of the PITCH SLIDER is +/-16%. The PITCH SLIDER (13) is used to decrease or increase the playback pitch. If the slider is move up (towards the top of the unit) the pitch will decrease, if the slider is moved down (towards the bottom of the unit) the pitch will increase.
