Removing Group Scan Channels To Delete a programmed channel from the Group Scan Memory, use the following procedure: 1. Rotate the CHANNEL SELECTOR knob until the channel you wish to remove is displayed. Note that the MEM indicator should appear, indicating that this channel is currently programmed in memory. 2. Receiver Quieting Puts the receiver in the "Ouiet" mode (also known as the "Tone Squelch" mode).
