To communicate with your iPronto, the WAP sends out RF (radio frequency) signals, which spread in all directions. The battery is precharged, but it is advisable to charge the battery for three hours when you start using the iPronto. See Recharging on page 13. When the battery is low, it takes about two hours to recharge. After three hours, recharging is automatically stopped. On first usage, it is advisable to recharge the battery for the full three hours. The iPronto can be used when it is recharging.
