Model 8/10 PLUS Operation and Configuration _ The S-Video output from the SVHS VCR would most likely require a user supplied S-Video to BNC adapter to connect to the Model 8 PLUS or Model 10 PLUS switcher. The Extron Part Number for an adapter of this type is 26-353-01. Composite video outputs and audio outputs from Laser Disc Players and VCRs will most likely require RCA to BNC adapters. Model 8/10 PLUS Operation and Configuration Changing the Baud Rate The RS-232 protocol factory setting is 9600 baud, 8-bits, no parity, 1 start bit and 1 stop bit. The position of internal rotary switch SW3 on the main controller board controls the baud rate and parity. To change the switch setting, remove the four screws from the top of the case and lift the cover straight up.
