Operating the Unit & Remote Control 13. When turning the projector off, rotate the operating switch counter clockwise one step. The lamp will go off, but the fan will continue to operate. Allow the fan to operate for a few minutes to properly cool the bulb, then shut off the fan by turning the operating switch to the OFF position. Turn the power switch to the OFF position. For added safety, your projector has a built-in fan/delay circuit.
