1 Setting Up the Projector This chapter tells you how to set up the projector and connect it to a computer or video source. You can connect up to two devices simultaneously: two computers or two video sources or one of each. Positioning the Projector Before connecting the projector, you need to decide where to place it. If you’re setting up the projector yourself and it isn’t already installed in the room you’re using, you’ll probably want to place it on a table in front of the screen, as shown. This lets you stand in the front of the room, face the audience, and remain close enough to the equipment to be able to control it. Try to leave as much space as possible between the projector and the screen to get

Connecting the Cable for Remote Mouse Control Using the remote control as a wireless mouse lets you click through slideshow-style presentations, such as PowerPoint, from up to 20 feet away. This makes it easy to deliver your presentation, since you won’t need to stand near your computer.
