Factors Affecting Printer Performance Several factors affect the time it takes to print a job. Among these is printer speed, measured in pages per minute (ppm). Factors that affect printer speed include special media (such as transparencies, glossy media, and heavy media) and custom-size media. Managing Memory This printer supports up to 208 MB of memory. You can add additional memory by installing Dual Inline Memory Modules (DIMMs).
