(This switch position is usually labelled SAVE or ERASE OFF.) Changing the Recording Mode E You can select between SP (standard play) and LP (long play). LP extends the tape usage by 1.5 times. It is not possible to dub audio or insert images to a tape that has been recorded in LP mode.
