Inserting the Batteries The camera is powered by two AAA-size alkaline batteries or rechargeable NiMH batteries. Open the battery cover. 1 Slide the battery cover in the direction indicated by the arrows. Insert the batteries. 2 Insert two AAA-size batteries with the positive (+) and negative (-) poles matching the directions indicated inside the battery compartment.
