PREPARATION FOR USE Unpacking And Set-up 1.) Remove the unit from the carton and remove all packing materials from the unit. Important: Make sure that you remove the AC Power Cord from the carton. 2.) Remove any descriptive labels that may be on the top of the cabinet. Do not remove any labels from the bottom of the cabinet. 3.) Press on the OPEN button and lift the lid. 4.) Press the CD Door in the area marked “OPEN/CLOSE” to open the CD Door. POWER SOURCES This system can be operated on 6 “C” batteries or on normal 120V 60Hz AC house current. Attempting to operate this system on any other power source may cause damage to the unit and such damage is not covered by your warranty. Battery Operation 1.) Close the lid and place the unit up-side down on a flat surface. 2.) Press the two tabs on each of the battery doors and remove the doors. 3.) OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Important Information: This system can only be operated with the lid in the open position. Pause Control To Pause temporarily during playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button. The sound stops and the track display flashes but the disc continues to spin. Press PLAY/PAUSE once more to cancel Pause mode and resume normal playback. Repeat Playback You can automatically repeat the entire disc or a single track. To repeat the entire disc: Load the disc in the player and wait until the display shows REPEAT the total tracks. PROGRAMMED PLAYBACK This CD player has a 19 track programmable memory system that allows you to program up to 19 tracks on any CD. You can select only the tracks that you want to hear and have them play in any order you want to hear them. The same track can be programmed to play several times if desired. Program Repeat Playback You can also use the Program and Repeat features together to repeat an entire programmed sequence of tracks indefinitely.
