Adding TCP/IP Protocols (Windows 98/95) If the TCP/IP Protocol is not in added to the settings personal computer, add the protocol using the following procedure. Click the Start button, and select Settings, Control Panel, and then Network. 1 Click the Add button. 2 Select Protocol, and click the Add button. 3 In the Manufacturers field, select Microsoft, 4 and in the Network Protocols field, select TCP/IP and click the OK button.
