1. Introduction You can connect the Nokia Wireless Headset (HS-26W) to a compatible phone that supports Bluetooth wireless technology. This allows you freedom to make and receive calls while on the move or in the office. Read this user guide carefully before using the headset. 2. Get started ■ Overview The headset contains the following parts as shown in the figure: • Power key (1) switches the headset on and off. Earphone (2) relays the caller’s voice. Indicator light (3) displays the current status of the headset. Volume key (4) increases or decreases the earphone volume during a call. Basic use ■ Place the headset on the ear Slide the headset onto your ear as shown in the figure.. ■ Call handling To make a call, use your phone in the normal way when the headset is connected to your phone. If your phone supports redialing, press the answer/end key twice briefly while no call is in progress. The phone that was first paired with the headset is the default phone. If the headset is switched on within 10 meters (30 feet) of several paired phones, the headset tries to connect to the default phone. 4. Battery information Your device is powered by a rechargeable battery. The full performance of a new battery is achieved only after two or three complete charge and discharge cycles.
