Chapter 2 – Installation 6. Ensure that the power on/off switch on the ZDX modem is in the On position before the modem is placed in the rack. Chapter 2 – Installation Rack Mounting Installation Procedure If the chassis is installed in a closed or multi-rack assembly, the operating temperature of the rack environment may be greater than the ambient temperature.
