RMON Overview Remote Monitoring (RMON) is a standards-based network management tool that allows you to efficiently and effectively monitor segments throughout the network. You can use RMON to identify and isolate potential problems in your network before disruptions occur. RMON-compliant devices operate without impacting network operation.
