CHAPTER 3: Operation 3. Operation 3.1 Overview You can operate the BRTS-100 ISDN Test Set in a variety of modes. Select them by turning the selector dial on the left of the unit (see Figure 3-1). The indicator lights (LEDs) on top of the unit indicate test results. BRTS-100 ISDN TEST SET To connect the Test Set in a point-to-point configuration, simply connect the 8-pin plug to either the A or B port located on top of the unit. To connect the Test Set in a passive bus configuration, connect the line from the NT1 to either the A or B port, and connect the termi-nal to the other port. However, it is by no means the only way to use the Test Set to isolate trouble or to verify lines.
