Basic Operation Charging the Battery Plug the small end of the Mini USB to USB A-Type cable into the Mini USB connector on the MP840 and plug the large end of the cable into an available USB port on your desktop, or notebook computer. File Navigation Press and Hold the “Menu Switch” inwards (MENU) in the MUSIC, RECORD, VIDEO, PHOTO, or E-book Mode to enter the File Navigator for that mode. MUSIC Mode If you want to buy DRM (Digital Rights Management) music online please be advised that the MP840 only supports WMA-DRM10 music files and you must use the MTP Music Transfer Mode to transfer the files to the player.
